BCM related incidents in the Netherlands
Every month, BCxPERT compiles a summary of incidents that have occurred in the Netherlands and that:
- Have endangered the safety and health of the organization’s employees;
- Have damaged an organization’s reputation;
- Have disrupted the delivery of services or products.
Source material is obtained by scanning national, provincial, and local media daily.
I am convinced that there are other sources reporting BCM incidents that do not appear on my list.
The actual scope of BCM incidents is even greater than what is stated in the overview.
This overview may be used to explain BCM within the organization and to support the usefulness and necessity of BCM.
